Operate Ditch Witch JT20 and HX50 directional drills. Responsible for bore path execution, rod handling, and mud management on residential and commercial HDD projects.
Install, splice, and maintain aerial fiber optic cable. Work from bucket trucks and pole climbing equipment. Must be comfortable working at heights in all weather conditions.
Perform underground utility locating using electromagnetic and GPR equipment. Mark bore paths and identify existing utilities before drilling operations begin.
Support HDD operations — assist with pit excavation, rod handling, mud mixing, site prep, and cleanup. A great entry point into the utility construction industry.
